bff
today i wish my dearest, best, sister friend a very happy birthday.
from 8th grade to this day and on… she will forever be my ash b.
she is not just a friend but a part of my family. secrets are shared. she keeps me grounded and is always a supporter. she has a heart and personality that is one of a kind. with her i laugh continuously and cry openly. she knows me, she gets me, she loves me and for that… i’ll be forever grateful.
i am beyond proud of her as a friend, sister, daughter, wife and mommy.
i love you chippy.

happiest of birthdays. enjoy your day… you deserve it.
something special…
and i feel lucky to be a part of it.

for those friends that haven’t had the viewing pleasure… enjoy.
twelve years together

belated but still wishful
i’m a bit late on this post, for a number of reasons, but it’s still quite deserving. my big brother marked a rather significant birthday on february 16th. i find it only appropriate to remind him that he is 2 1/2 years my elder and i’ll continue to hang on to my 20s for sometime.
reminders aside, i wish(ed) him a day full of delight and of good merry. although we’re thousands of miles apart and many time zones in between, i marked his day and celebrated him.
brother, happiest of birthdays. i hope this one was especially special for several reasons, one being you’re in KOREA! as i tell you frequently, i love and miss you.
until we see each other again…

(nothing like a good ol’ korean photo booth to get things started)
love
i love you because you say yes when i insist on driving around at night to try out my makeshift camera filter. love.
pumpkin of love
as mentioned below, my friend sarah is expecting her first baby in december… a sweet little girl. in honor of, we put together a “Fall” themed shower equipped with apple cider, pumpkin whoppie pies, fresh sliced apples w/ warm caramel dip, falling leaf garland, and a couple games. Teachers rotated in and out to give their congratulations and to grab a tasty treat.
to say the least, i am thrilled with the looming arrival of baby ALY. i’ve been out of the crafting loop for many months now, but it felt great to get back to it. thanks for giving me a reason.
i think we’re ready for baby!

(me & sarah {and baby} )
i celebrate you
this dear here, sarah, is celebrating a birthday today! i was lucky enough to spend part of her day with her so we could celebrate her soon-to-be baby girl.
i love comparing past birthday celebrations to current birthdays… a bit different from our college days, yet some how they feel a bit more special! i surely hope you’ve enjoyed your birthday as much as i have.
here’s to many more healthful and wonderful birthdays to come… love, your friend.
